Developing a love of reading starts early in life, and some of those readers turn into writers: whether you're a reader or a writer there is something for you at the 2nd Annual Augusta Literary Festival. Founder, Corey Johnson, and East Central Georgia Regional Librarian, Sherryl James, explain why both feel so strongly about bringing the festival to Augusta. The weekend is also a chance for local authors to be recognized when the first ever Yerby Award, named for Augusta author Frank Yerby.
You can find more information on the Augusta Literary Festival's website.
