Abilene Baptist to hold “The Great Egg Drop” March 30th

Abilene Baptist Church will be dropping 15,000 candy-filled Easter
eggs from a helicopter onto the Columbia County Fairground at Noon on
Saturday, March 30, 2013.

This event is for children ages walking
thru 5th grade and their families. After the eggs have been dropped, the
children will be allowed into the “drop zone” to hunt for the eggs!
Three separate “drop zones” will be utilized to separate the age groups
and provide for a safe and fun experience for the children their
parents.

Activities, including “inflatables”, face painting,
crafts, Bible story time and music games will begin at 10:00 AM. In
addition there will be live music throughout the morning and FREE food
(hot dog, chips and a drink) and FREE snacks (popcorn and cotton candy)
offered to kids participating in the Egg Drop. Additional hot dogs and
BBQ sandwiches will be available for purchase.

The Columbia County
Fairground entrance is on William Few Parkway near the intersection of
William Few Parkway and Columbia Road.
