Representatives from all 32 NFL teams were on hand to watch 18 Georgia Bulldogs trying to make an impression before next month's NFL draft.
After turning in arguably the best performance among linebackers at the NFL Combine, former Burke County star Cornelius Washington opted to skip most of the measurable drills at pro day.
Washington's stock has risen immensely since the combine, and the converted linebacker says he's receiving equal interest as a defensive end.
Former Westside high star Sanders Comming's didn't participate in the bench press at the combine due to a minor shoulder injury; but at Pro Day he put up 23 reps of 225lbs. That would have been good enough for a top 5 showing among defensive backs in Indianapolis.
NFL scouts got their first look at linebacker Jarvis Jones who skipped the combine to focus on Pro Day. But the All-American linebacker was merely average – turning in a disappointing 4.92 second 40 yard dash and only 20 reps on the bench press.
