Reduced Work Hours Begin For Thousands Of SRS Workers

There is no April Fools Day joke for many Savannah River Site (SRS) workers.

Starting Monday, some 2,000 SRS employees will see their hours cut.

Work schedules will go from 40 hours a week to 32 hours.

Federal budget cuts are being blamed for the reduction in work hours.
