Authorities in the Garden City are still keeping an eye out for illegal scalpers this Masters Week.

So far, investigators have NOT arrested anyone, but last year officers arrested more than 40 scalpers.

The rules state that individuals selling badges have to stay at least 2700 feet away from the Augusta National Golf Course.

Most violators are typically from out of state who don't understand Georgia's law.

Fewer than 20 companies or individuals hold active ticket broker licenses.

If caught, violators can face misdemeanor charges, fines or even face jail time.

There will be undercover officers and up to 20 deputies patrolling the Augusta National every day.

Richmond County investigators are also pulling in resources from Columbia County, and the Georgia State Patrol.
