Steve Lawrence Allen was arrested this afternoon in Toombs County, Georgia by state troopers. According to Richmond County authorities, when they arrived on the scene, 3 of the victims had been shot. Officials say one of the victims, 57 year old Linda Crumbley, died from her injuries. The 2 other victims are in the hospital. 33 year old Mario Crumbley is in critical but stable condition, and 27 year old Dekrizia Crumbley is in serious but stable condition.
Tuesday morning, at approximately 9:25 a.m., Richmond County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to 3524 Biltmore Place in regards to shots being fired with one person injured.
When deputies arrived, they learned that three victims were injured and had sustained gunshot wounds. The three victims had been transported to Georgia Regents Medical Center for medical treatment prior to investigators' arrival.
Within minutes of investigators arriving on the scene, it was learned that one of the three victims had died from the injuries. The other two victims were still being treated. The identities of the victims are being withheld at this time.
Violent Crimes Division investigators are still on the scene and are currently looking for a person of interest, 52-year-old Steve Lawrence Allen of 3655 Spring Hill Church Road in Blythe, in regards to this incident. Allen was last seen driving a 2005 green Ford F-150 pickup truck.
