On Tuesday, April 23rd WJBF News Channel 6 will host a Telethon to raise funds in support of the Augusta Warrior Project (AWP).

AWP is a local and independent non-profit helping veterans in critical life issues such as housing, employment, education and benefits in 13 CSRA counties. AWP is a separate organization from the Wounded Warrior Project.

All funds given to the Augusta Warrior Project stay in the CSRA, helping local veterans.

If the goal of 1,500 $20 per month donors is not met by September 1st, the service that AWP provides to local veterans will cease to exist.

Your help is needed. On Tuesday, call 706-993-2213 to make your donation!

Thanks for your support!
