Thursday marks the 5th anniversary of the unsolved murder of Aiken teacher Ann Fox Smith.
Smith, who was a teacher at Kennedy Middle School, was found dead in her home on April 25, 2008.
Aiken Department of Public Safety (ADPS) officers say someone must know something, and they hope that person will find the courage to speak up. It could help solve the case.
“They tell me we want it solved, they want someone to come forward. Their family needs closure, our community needs closure, so again, this type of information is good. Maybe it will spark somebody to make that phone call, to have that courage to call us,” Captain Turno says.
Capt. Turno asks that no matter how insignificant the information may seem, if you know something, please contact ADPS.
