LOOK AROUND TOWN: The Wisteria Hill Plantation Family Fun Festival is raising money for SIDS research and the Wyatt Memorial Foundation.
The festival is Sunday, April 28 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the Wisteria Hill Plantation located in Appling, GA.
Vendors, live entertainment, local business demonstrations, inflatables and pony rides for the kids, a charity bike ride, and a car show will be on site throughout the day.
At 3 p.m., the featured performance group, the Swingin' Medallions, will be performing on stage.
According to event coordinator Dustin Woods, this is the first year for the event. He says it will go on rain or shine.
Woods also says, “We are really excited about this event and hope that it will aid in raising funds for research to be able to give to GRU.”
