Keeping A Mother’s Memory Alive

Marla Logan knows personally how cancer changes lives. Her mother, Phyllis, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that had spread to her liver and ovaries by the time it was discovered. Marla considers herself lucky to have been able to share nine months with her mom before the battle was over. That is time she credits to doctors and to the American Cancer Society. That is why now she is keeping her mother's memory alive by forming Team Phyllis to participate in the upcoming Columbia County Relay For Life. Marla shares her family's story with the viewers and encourages anyone who can to participate in the worthy cause.
