Lawyers file lawsuits against West Fertilizer saying they've been told that the plant carried only $1 million dollars in insurance, before last month's deadly explosion.
They say it's consistent with an overall lack of responsibility by the plant.
Lawyer Rancy C. Roberts says that he and other attorneys who have filed
lawsuits against West Fertilizer's owners were told last Thursday about the
size of the it's policy.
The plant explosion last month killed 14 people,
injuring more than 200 others and damaging or destroying property for
blocks in every direction.
Investigators still don't know what caused the blast on April 17th. An insurance industry group estimates that it may have caused up to $100 million in damage.
