A 2013 Veterans Job and Career Expo will be held at the Fort Gordon Army Reserve Center, located at 15th Street and Lane Avenue., from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7th.

The Georgia Department of Labor Augusta Career Center and Fort Gordon's Army Career and Alumni Program (ACAP) are sponsoring the event.  More than 50 employers will be looking to hire for both part-time and full-time positions for the following companies: Delta Air Lines, Home Depot, IBM, CSRA Transportation, LLC, Intelligence Careers, Fort Gordon Exchange, General Dynamic Information Technology, Augusta Warrior Project, Columbia County Sherriff's Office, and many more.

The first hour of the job fair 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. will only be open to the Warrior Transition Battalion Soldiers and their family members.  The job fair is open to the public from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
