The weather wasn't fit for swimming but neither was one of Augusta's city pools.
Dyess pool was scheduled to open the season at two this afternoon but instead of kids splashing there was a city worker still trying to get it in shape.
City officials say there is a problem with the filter system that prevented Dyess from being ready on time.
The issue was getting the water clear.
Crews hope it'll be fixed by Friday to allow it to open.
Other city pools opened on schedule.
