State Representative Wayne Howard and his family will be honored Friday night by the Georgia Association of Broadcasters.
Members of the Howard family are being recognized for their work with “The Parade of Quartets”.
The Howard family will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award for the longest running TV show in the State of Georgia.
“The Parade of Quartets” airs each Sunday on WJBF News Channel 6. It has been on the air since the 1950's.
Representative Howard currently serves as the show's co-host.
The award will be presented Friday night at the GAB Honor's Night Program.
