In a press release Thursday, Moe's Southwest Grill restaurants explained technical difficulties with their new App forced the company to pull the plug on the promotion associated with it.
The company said:
“We've underestimated how awesome our fans are, and unfortunately that's caused a logjam in the ordering process for moes.com as well as from the Moe's app. The whole purpose of the FREE burrito when you buy a large drink was to reward diehard fans… we're decided to pull the plug on our app and online ordering until we straighten everything out.”
