Richmond County school leaders are in a budget battle.  During last night's meeting, administrators discussed ways to make up for a $23million deficit.

The plan includes cutting 135 jobs from the teaching staff, para-professionals, and custodians. There was also talk of adding 2 human resources positions and a $78,000 computer program to help with hiring.

The board is scheduled to talk about the budget again at the meeting on Tuesday, June 19th.
