Richmond County Man Accused In Triple Homicide May Face The Death Penalty

In Richmond County, a man accused of killing three of his family members could face the death penalty.

Ryan Jones is accused of murdering his brother (Russell Jones), father (Roosevelt Jones), and mother (Edna Jones) in their home and then burning their bodies in a Hephzibah field.

New documents from the District Attorney Danny Craig's office refer to the killings as “outrageously vile” and “inhumane”. The document also reveals a possible motive for the killings, which includes financial gain.

Judge Carlisle Overstreet has been assigned to hear the case.
