An arrest in a March murder in Swainsboro has been arrested.
An arrest has been made on the March 16th incident in which Jennifer Ann Sutton was discovered dead when her body was located on Lincoln Street.
Officials say, an ongoing investigation since the date of incident has led the authorities to the arrest on Wednesday, July 3rd of 20-year-old Jamichael Ricardo Simmons, who has a North Carolina address.
Simmons is currently being held in the Emanuel County Detention Facility under the charges of felony murder and concealing a death.
This arrest was made following an extensive investigation by the Swainsboro Police Department and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. At this time, this case remains under investigation.
