Richmond County Sheriff's Office deputies are searching for a woman wanted in connection to a stabbing in Richmond County.
Investigators tell us, shortly before 11:00 p.m. Wednesday night, 22-year-old Monisha Jackson and 23-year-old Sherika Burgess were sitting in Jackson's stopped vehicle on the 200 block of Walker Street.
A woman, identified as 22-year-old Ieesha Nicole Faulks, reportedly approached the vehicle on foot, and began punching Jackson about the face and body through the open driver's side window. Burgess, according to investigators, got out of the vehicle and attempted to assist Jackson when Faulks and an unknown black female knocked Burgess to the ground.
During the altercation, Burgess was stabbed with a knife once in the chest (left side) by Faulks. Both victims were able to get back in the vehicle and as they attempted to leave Faulks used the knife to puncture both passenger side tires of the vehicle. Jackson's 2-year-old child was inside the vehicle at the time of the incident.
Warrants are on file for Faulks for the charges of Aggravated Assault, Criminal Trespass, and Cruelty to Children in the Third Degree. Anyone with information on Faulks' whereabouts is asked to contact the Richmond County Sheriff's Office at 706-821-1080.
