The search continues for a possible drowning victim in Aiken County.
Searchers are looking for 22-year-old Byron Coleman, who was last seen swimming in Langley Pond Wednesday afternoon. Authorities say no one saw the man surface and that's why divers resumed looking Thursday morning. A second swimmer was rushed to the hospital Wednesday, and has since been released from the hospital.
Officials, though, are fearing the worse for Coleman.
“After we cleared everyone from the park, we found some belongings that belonged to a Byron Coleman, a 22-year-old black male from Graniteville, South Carolina. We've been in contact with his parents. They have asked, if Byron is out with friends or if they've had contact with him to make contact with them or us,” says Burnettown Chief of Police David Paul Smith.
