The Augusta United Negro College Fund (UNCF) is dedicated to opening opportunities for more students to become highly qualified college graduates. UNCF is focused on ensuring that all Americans have equal access to a college education. The Augusta campaign is raising money to do just that with its Inaugural Ann N. Johnson UNCF Jazz Festival. Ann Johnson, the event's namesake and a Paine College graduate, and Leadra Collins, the event coordinator, share with viewers of The Means Report viewers why this event is going to be so special.

You can attend the Ann N. Johnson Jazz Festival on September 9. It is being held at the Jessye Norman Amphitheater with a pre-show at 4pm, the main concert starting at 5pm. Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 the day of the event. You can purchase tickets by contacting Leadra Collins at 706-821-8233 or by emailing her at lcollins@paine.edu.
