Many headlines this summer have focused on racism. From George Zimmerman being found “not guilty” in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin to accusations against Paula Deen for using the “N” word and racial discrimination… The conversation of race has been prevalent, so we decided to tackle the topic head-on. Dr. William Reese is a professor of sociology with Georgia Regents University. He talks frankly about race, stereotypes, and if we are any closer to overcoming the stigma of being “two countries”.
