An update now, to a story we brought you recently about a little boy facing a leg amputation, due to Proteus Sydrome.
As you can see, 2 and 1/2 year old Trey Mills has an infectious smile and bubbly personality… we first introduced you to him six weeks ago, before the Tee's Fore Trey golf tournament to raise money for mounting medical bills.
And look at this!
Just three weeks after the surgery to remove his left leg, Trey is still all smiles.
Mom Summer Crewsonberry says her little boy is getting along well. She's says he's slowly healing and is back to his normal, happy spirits. Trey will be fitted for his prothetic leg in five weeks.
We'll keep you posted and follow up with Trey after he gets his new leg.
