We have the answers you need to help you navigate through the process.

My wife and I are in our seventies and both receive Social Security. As a former state employee I also pay premiums for BlueCross/BlueShield and my wife is covered as my dependent. Is our Medicare effected? Is our BC/BS effected?

Robert Harn, from Benefit Coordinators, “The ACA at present does not affect your medicare, next year it could and subsiquent years, as far as your Blue Cross Blue Shield plan I would suggest that you contact your Blue Cross Blue Shield sales representative or service representative, and inquire about your plan, I do have some good news for you. The state open enrollement for state retirees, will be October 21st thru November 8th, so you should be getting some information I the mail now.”
