All they need is $900,000. That is how close the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Augusta is to reaching their goal and creating a new home away from home for families with children receiving treatment here in Augusta. Betts Murdison, the President and CEO of the charity, has plenty of ways that the CSRA can become involved and help them make that dream a reality. Some of the upcoming events include:
Rodney Atkins Live at The Country Club Dance Hall and Saloon on Friday, December 13th at 8pm. Tickets are just $10.
The next night – Saturday, December 14th — there is a Pub Crawl in downtown Augusta starting at the Metro Coffee house. Tickets are $15 a person.
Then on January 11th you can lace up your running shoes for the Red-Nose Run 5K Run/Walk starting at the James Brown Arena at 8am with a Fun Run starting at 8:45am. If you register before December 15 you can receive a Dri-FIT Athletic Shirt.
