 A 10 year old boy found an ancient arrowhead while vacationing with his family at the New Jersey shore. According to an expert with the New Jersey Bureau of Archaeology, the arrowhead could be between 8 thousand to 11 thousand years old. The 10 year old says that he plans on holding on to the treasure for a little while before he donates it.

A renegade bee tried to cause some problems on the tennis court. During the U-S Open, it seems that this lone bee kept interrupting Kimko Date-Krumm and Venus Williams during their match. The bee first kept interrupting Kimiko during her serve. Then, the bee visits Venus, who tries to use her racquet to shoo it away.

Last night, the 66th annual Emmy Awards honored TV’s Best of the Best. Seth Meyers was the host this year. Jim Parsons from the Big Bang theory received outstanding lead actor in a comedy series while Julia Louis-Dreyfus received outstanding lead actress in a comedy series. “Breaking Bad” won for best drama, outstanding lead actor, outstanding supporting actor, and actress in a drama. ABC’s Modern Family won for outstanding comedy and supporting actor in a comedy. And Joe Morton of Scandal won for outstanding guest actor in a drama series.

And it was a big day for the city of Springfield, Oregon as the mural honoring The Simpsons was unveiled. Hundreds came out to take a glimpse of the artwork which is on the west side of the Emerald Arts Center. Yeardley Smith, the voice of Lisa Simpson, came out to celebrate as well.
