 Many people know the dangers of texting while driving — but they do it anyway.
A Colorado woman is lucky to be alive after she was in a serious accident while texting….although its a little pain in the behind.
She slammed into a guardrail pole. it went through the front light of her truck piercing her in the buttocks and continuing through the seat behind her. Firefighters were able to get her out of the car and she was rushed to the hospital for  emergency surgery.

Nominations are out for this year’s country music association awards.
Miranda lambert leads the way with nine nominations…that’s the most ever for a female artist. lambert is up against her husband Blake Shelton for entertainer of the year, along with George Strait, Keith Urban and Luke Bryan. the 48th Annual C-M-A Awards airs live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Wednesday, November fifth, on ABC.

Sadly, we can’t take a mid afternoon nap during the workday.
If you didn’t get those your eight hours of sleep last night, you’re not alone. The centers for disease control and prevention estimate fewer americans are getting a full night’s rest.
Stop hitting snooze…..just set your alarm for the latest possible moment for getting up.
Also, make time for breakfast.  eating within an hour of waking up will boost your mood and cognitive performance…..and knock out busy work like replying to e-mails, and office house keeping between 3 and 5.

Michael Sam, a defensive lineman who was released by the St. Louis Rams on Saturday, will join the practice squad of the Dallas Cowboys.
He is the first openly gay player drafted by an NFL team, failed to win a spot on the Rams’ roster.
Sam, who changed his Twitter biography to “proud Dallas Cowboys defensive end,” could be called up to the active roster from the practice squad depending on injuries and other factors.
Dallas certainly has a need for pass-rush help.
