The talk isn’t over when it comes to a storm water utility fee in Augusta.
Next week, the city will hold another public information meeting in the 8th Commission District.
Commissioner Wayne Guilfoyle represents the area and he says, because of the size of his district, he wanted another meeting to allow residents of the area to say how they feel about the fee.
“The people need to have a clear understanding how this storm fee will impact them. It will be an opportunity since we are in a listening session to listen to the concerns and the voice of the people,” said Guilfoyle.
The second District 8 storm water utility fee meeting will be this coming Thursday. That’s April 30th at the Blythe Community Center on Highway 88. The meeting is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
