This morning we saw strange looking clouds, called virga. Virga is pretty special not only because it looks strange, but because it is strange.
Virga is a mass streak or streaks of rain under a cloud that evaporates and never reaches the ground.
Though this morning’s virga gave us pictorial scenery with the rising sun, we were under partly cloudy skies and will be until the afternoon.
After 10 am today, we will see about a 20 percent chance of rain until 11 a.m. then, we will be dry by the afternoon.
Highs for today will be in the upper 70s so, prepare to feel a warm up on your way out. You can anticipate on it feeling windy today, due to southerly winds blowing between 15 to 20 miles per hour.
Tonight, you will want to bundle up because, we will be a few degrees below average, in the 30s, and under clear skies.
Tomorrow morning will feel like winter so, prepare for a morning with wind chills in the 30s and 40s beginning at midnight and lasting until 9 a.m.
