Today: You can expect plentiful sunshine! Highs will top out in the mid to upper 90s, with heat indices in the low 100s to around 108°F. Afternoon showers and storms will be mostly confined to the Georgia and South Carolina coasts.

Tonight: Warm and muggy overnight, with just some light cloud cover across the CSRA. Early Sunday morning lows will range from the mid to upper 70s.

Monday: Computer models are trending toward a mostly to partly sunny sky during the early afternoon… So, breaks in the clouds are expected during the solar eclipse. Isolated showers and a few storms will develop during the heat of the afternoon.

From Monday through Friday of next week, each day will bring a mix of sun and clouds, plus isolated to scattered afternoon rain. Highs will remain in the mid 90s for the most part. Highs may return to near normal (around 92°F) for the end of the work week. Lows will remain in the mid 70s.
