WJBF News Channel 6 has learned the woman who was driving the vehicle that reportedly hit and killed former Georgia State Senator Joey Brush while he was riding his motorcycle is facing several charges.
Kimberely Chere Crouch, 49, of the 400 block of Carole Drive in Grovetown is facing charges of Failure to Stop/Yield at Stop/Yield Sign, and Homicide by Vehicle in 2nd Degree.
According to a Columbia County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson, a car being driven by Crouch pulled into the path of the motorcycle Brush was riding at the intersection of Columbia Road and Louisville Road Thursday morning.
Brush died as a result of the crash.

WJBF News Channel 6 has learned the identity of the victim in a deadly crash involving a motorcycle Thursday morning.
The victim has been identified as former State Senator Joey Brush.
The crash happened at the intersection of Columbia Road and Louisville Road Thursday morning.
According to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, a car pulled into the path of the motorcycle.
Charges are pending against the driver of the car.
