One “Garden City” Commissioner wants another pay check.
Augusta Commissioner Marion Williams is the Commission appointment to the Augusta Planning Commission.
Williams does not get paid for sitting in on the meetings, however, other committee members make $150 a month.
Williams says, before he was appointed, that appointed member was paid to be on that board.
An Augusta Commission committee took up Williams’ request Tuesday. They turned this over to City Administrator Janice Jackson to see if Williams is entitled to that extra paycheck.
