We have learned more about Sullivan’s verdict.
She has been found guilty of 1 count of Murder, 2 counts of Aggravated Assault, 2 counts of Reckless Driving, 1 count of Cruelty to Children, 1 count of Speeding, 1 count of Driving on the Wrong Side of the Road, 1 count of Not Obeying a Traffic Control Device.
Her sentencing will take place at a later date.

Augusta, GA – The jury in the Monique Sullivan trial has just returned a verdict of guilty. Sullivan has been found guilty of murder in the 2012 crash on Riverwatch Parkway that left one woman dead.
Sullivan has also been found guilty on 2 counts of aggravated assault, 2 counts of reckless driving, cruelty to children, speeding, driving on the wrong side of the road, and not obeying a traffic control device.

Augusta, GA – Thursday was day 4 of the trial of the woman accused of driving the wrong way down Riverwatch Parkway in 2012.
Authorities say that 34-year-old Monique Sullivan caused the massive crash that killed one person.
Sullivan walked into the court room Thursday with no emotion on her face.
3 more of the state’s witnesses took the stand.
Witness #1 is a trauma doctor. He treated one of the crash victims at the hospital. He says the woman had several internal injuries caused by the crash.
Witness #2 is a pulmonary specialist. He cared for Amelia Hiltz, the woman who died from her injuries 8 months after the crash. He says she died from was traumatic brain injury that caused bronchitis and pneumonia.
Witness #3 was married to Amelia Hiltz. He says that day, she was driving down Riverwatch to go to the grocery store. Hours later, he got a phone call from the hospital. He says once the doctors described his wife’s injuries, he knew she would die.
Next, the state rested its case. It was the defense’s to state its case.
Everyone was wondering if Sullivan was going to testify.
“Have you made a decision as to whether or not you’re going to take the stand or not?” Judge Roper said.
“I made a decision,” Sullivan replied.
“And what is that decision?” Roper said.
“No, sir,” Sullivan said.
From there, the defense rested its case.
Both parties went on to discuss the charges that will be listed during the final day of trial.
Sullivan is facing several charges including murder, vehicular homicide, aggravated assault, cruelty to children, serious injury by vehicle, and several other traffic violations.
Closing arguments will be tomorrow at 9:30am, then the jury will deliberate.

Augusta, GA – It’s day four of the Monique Sullivan trial and both the prosecution and the defense have rested.
The prosecution called three witnesses who described what they saw and how the deadly accident affected them.
The defense rested without calling witnesses.
At this hour charges are being discussed for Sullivan.
Sullivan drove the wrong way on Riverwatch Parkway in 2012, causing a massive crash and killing one person.
