Johnson on 2015: ‘Probably Toughest Schedule Since I’ve Been at Georgia Tech’

Augusta, GA (WJBF) — The new college football playoff system rewards teams with strong strength of schedules. ACC teams have often struggled to match the difficulty of SEC teams’ schedules, but that will not be an issue for Georgia Tech this fall.

“Overall, we’ve probably got the toughest schedule since I’ve been at Georgia Tech,” 8th year head coach Paul Johnson said.

The Yellow Jackets’ schedule features games at Notre Dame, ACC divisional crossover games against Clemson and Florida State and the annual season finale with Georgia.

“I think nationally our strength of schedule will have to be in the top 10 or top 20, before it’s over; looking forward to the challenge.”

Georgia Tech opens the season at home against Alcorn State on September 3rd.
