Huge Turnout at First-Ever Border Bowl Combine (Winners Listed)

Evans, GA. — There are not many cities that have the distinction of bordering two states, which certainly makes Augusta a unique city. It provides the opportunity for fun competition between the Peach and Palmetto states with events like the Border Bowl all-star football game.

Saturday morning, a tryout for the Border Bowl III was held at Evans High School. Several players qualified for the teams but the remainder of Team South Carolina and Team Georgia’s rosters will be determined after the high school football season season.

The inaugural combine featured a large turnout, as 98 high school senior football players competed in the event. The results and winners of the drills are listed below.
