Boil Water Advisory Issued For Customers Affected By Water Main Break

AIKEN, Ga.- City of Aiken Engineering and Utilities crews have been working to repair a water main break on Richland Avenue East near Old Wagener Road in Aiken.

Repairs to the water main were completed on July 22, 2015.

One lane of Richland Avenue remains closed while crews complete repairs to the roadway.

As a precaution, the City of Aiken Engineering and Utilities Department City of Aiken Engineering and Utilities crews have been working to repair a water main break on Richland Avenue East near Old Wagener Road in Aiken.

Customers in the area who are without water should boil water for at least 2 minutes, and allow the water to cool prior to consumption for the next twenty-four hours.

In addition to those affected by the main break, customers city wide who observe cloudy water issues should refrain from consumption.

You should run your water until it is clear.
