You’re not seeing double. This is Twin City, as in Twin City, Georgia on the day celebrated as “National Twin Day”.

“I didn’t know nothing about it,” said another Twin “Citian”, Willie Mincy.

“You would think this would be the town to celebrate “twindom”.

“Twindom,” repeated Mincy.

But, everywhere you look here, you can see this is the Twin City. It’s a town times two.

In Twin City, nobody gets just one bag of ice. That isn’t as nice.

“We’re getting twice the ice,” said a woman having a party for her daughter, at the ice vending machine.

The daily lunch buffet runs until 2o, and it appears Friday’s pairing includes “Dog Good”. In Twin City, they will try anything once.

“No, that’s not very good,” said Jackie Frazier.

There are a lot of twins in Twin City, even if they’re not born that way.

“Ricky Mosley has a twin…the Oakland Raiders logo.

“Now Meagan has a twin, and you can’t shake it off. I think she looked like Taylor Swift.

“I saw Billy’s twin. It was on a poster at the Post Office. Billy thought it was funny.

But, in Twin City, they also have the real deal.

“I am a twin,” said Reverend Handsom. “You are? No, you’re not?” we prodded Rev. Handsom. “Yes, I am. Really, I am a twin,” he said, adding, “a Reverend wouldn’t lie.” “What’s that like?” we asked. “Well, I guess it’s special,” he said

Twin City…talk about double the fun.
