BREAKING: Car-Jacking and Robbery in Aiken

Aiken Public Safety responded to a car-jacking and robbery at the Kangroos Express Gas Station on Whiskey Road at 3:53 p.m. Sunday.

Aiken, South Carolina – Aiken Public Safety responded to a car-jacking and robbery at the Kangroos Express Gas Station on Whiskey Road at 3:53 p.m. Sunday.

According to officials the suspect forced the victim to drive to a place near Dry Branch Road in New Ellenton, South Carolina after taking an undisclosed amount of money in a bank Kangaroo Express bank deposit.

The victim suffered minor injuries after being struck in the head by the suspect.

Aiken County Bloodhound Tracking Team responded to the scene but could not locate the suspect.

According to Aiken Public Safety the suspect was last seen in the Whiskey Road and Dry Branch Road in New Ellenton, South Carolina area. They say he is a white male between the age of 23 and 28, 5’10” and around 180 pounds. He was wearing a camo t-shirt and brown Carhartt pants.
