Boil Water Advisory Still In Effect For Monetta Water System Customers

Monetta, SC – According to a tweet from the Aiken County Emergency Management Division, the Boil Water Advisory issued Tuesday for customers of the Monetta Water System is still in effect.

We are told that officials are working to fix the issue that caused the Advisory.

Monetta, SC – The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC), as well as the Monetta Water System have issued a Boil Water Advisory for customers of the water system, located in Aiken County.

Officials say, customers should vigorously boil their water for at least one (1) minute prior to drinking or cooking until otherwise notified by the water system. Also, any ice made from water which has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes.
