Augusta, GA – Former Richmond County Coroner Grover Tuten is now on day 2 of his 3-year Federal Prison sentence.
Tuten was sentenced last month after pleading guilty to stealing money and other items from the dead. He also has to play nearly $100,000 in fines.
Tuten still faces several state charges.
He had requested to serve his time in the Federal Prison in Estill, South Carolina or the Trenton, South Carolina Federal Prison, but he was ordered to serve his time in Pensacola, Florida instead.
