AUGUSTA, Ga. – Moxie, a 4-month-old puppy that is getting a second chance at life after he was found beaten and buried alive, in doing “good” and has a new home, according to the non-profit group, Dog Networking Agents, Inc. (DNA).
DNA helped take care of Moxie’s medical bills when Westside Animal Hospital took him in last month after Augusta Animal Services found him on Boy Scout Road.

Bark for a Cure! Moxie is having lots of fun and getting lots of love here in his new home! He wants to thank everyone who sent him get well wishes and give some love back! You can come visit Moxie at Bark For a Cure at PetSmart on Saturday from 12-1 pm. Moxie is a fighter and a survivor, as are those who fight breast cancer. Please come out and support Moxie and survivors everywhere by supporting Bark For a Cure! If more than ten doggies are adopted, DNA will donate $100 to The Miracle Mile Foundation, a walk that takes place on Saturday morning. Here’s a sneak peak of Moxie sporting some signature pink for breast cancer support. Hope to see you Saturday in your pink shirts!.
The Bark For A Cure event is being held at Petsmart, in Augusta, Georgia. The adoption event starts at 11:00 a.m. Moxie is scheduled to be there from 12:00-1:00 p.m. with his new family. Petsmart is located at 225 Robert C. Daniel, Jr. Parkway.
