Columbia, SC (WJBF) – Monday, Governor Nikki Haley announced the One SC Fund, which is a fundraising effort that will help South Carolinians who are recovering from unprecedented flooding continue the re-building process.

“When government is done, we have to keep going, and so we started a One South Carolina fund…to allow us to complete the work the government can’t do,” said Gov. Nikki Haley. “We are asking the people of South Carolina to step up today. We’re asking the people of the country to step up today. We’re saying if you were blessed and did not have damage with your home, if you were blessed and you had insurance, if you were blessed and you’re able to get back into a safe place, pay it forward.”

“I’m just so blessed to be a part of it, blessed to be here standing with these people, and, I mean, it’s just been an honor,” said former University of South Carolina Gamecocks and San Francisco 49ers running back Marcus Lattimore.
