Fort Gordon Hosts Annual Thanksgiving Day Meal For Soldiers

Fort Gordon held their annual Thanksgiving Day Meal for Soldiers, their families, and Veterans. They decorate the dining halls to make it feel more like home. More than 6,000 people come to enjoy the Thanksgiving Meal. The day is a chance to show appreciate for Soldiers and all their hard work.

“I’m thankful and bless to be able to go home for Christmas. So I may not have been there today but, I’ll go home tonight with a smile on my face,” said Kevin White, a U.S. Army Soldier.

As part of the holiday, the dining facilities compete against each other on their food presentation, customer service, and decorations.
