Augusta, Georgia – More than 200 thousand dollars was raised for the Children’s Hospital of Georgia during the 2015 Radiothon. The check was presents to kid’s just like Emma Taylor, who with donations from the community receive care to be able to live longer lives.
The Radiothon is the largest single fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital of Georgia. CHOG is the second largest children’s hospital in the state providing the highest level of care for children.
“Emma’s mother told us and we know it’s true that they don’t think she would be here. She wouldn’t have made it through the crash that she had and her illness without this hospital.” Jodi Carter, of WBBQ’s Murphy, Sam, and Jodi told WJBF News Channel 6.
All the money raised stays right here in the Children’s Hospital of Georgia.
