Rock Hill, SC – A woman wearing a Muslim headdress was kicked out of a Donald Trump rally in South Carolina. Rose Hamid stood up in silent protest when trump suggested Syrian refugees are affiliated with ISIS. The republican’s supporters started booing and shouted get out. Police in Rock Hill said the Trump Campaign told them in advance to kick out anyone causing a disturbance. But the woman said she was only trying to prove a point.
“My purpose for going there was that i have the sincere belief that if people get to know each other one-on-one, that we’ll stop being afraid of each other and we’ll be able to get rid of all this hate in the world, literally. So that was really my goal was to let people see that Muslims are not that scary,” Hamid said.
Trump responded, “There is hatred against us that is unbelievable.” He added “It’s their hatred, it’s not our hatred.”
