Arrests Made In Weekend Hephzibah Murder

Augusta, GA – Richmond County Sheriff’s Office investigators made two arrests in connection with the death of 27-year-old Terry Hufton.  Hufton was found in the front yard of a home in the 2300 block of Patrick Avenue just before 7:00 a.m. on Saturday.  Investigators located two suspects in Appling hiding out on the 2700 block of Dozier Road.  After a two-hour standoff, deputies arrested 39-year-old William Earl Faircloth, of North Carolina and 35-year-old Tina Louise Herman, of Augusta.  Both surrendered.

Faircloth is being charged with the following: Murder and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime.

Faircloth also had outstanding warrants at the time of his arrest.
