(AUGUSTA,GA) The city of Augusta will start from scratch to find a new E-E-O and A-D-A Compliance Director.
Commissioners voted this afternoon to advertise once again to fill that position.
They’ve already voted on two finalists for the job since October, but neither could get the needed 6 votes.
Mayor Davis voted against nominee Carmen Alexander who is contracting with the city to handle E-E-O complaints.
Meanwhile the city will continue to contract her, something she’s been doing since April.
That cost the city about 3-thousand dollars a week.
