Commissioners agreeing to split the 29- thousand dollar budget evenly among all ten members, and if one commissioners uses up his allotment he can get unused travel dollars from another commissioner.
But Wayne Guilfoyle suggested reducing the amount each commissioner gets and doing away with allowing members to share their portions because it of ethical concern
“” You have to look at what’s fair and practical it puts the idea of people saying if two commissioners don’t get along one aint going to give up the money it’s child play to me but it could happen it could happen”
Mayor Davis was critical of the vote calling it “poppycock” saying it was designed to limited commissioners ability to travel on behalf of the city.
