Atlanta, GA (WJBF) – A pastor in Atlanta says two kids sneaked into his church and stole money and his car.

Reverend Hebrew McDonald, from Salvation Word of Life Ministry, says the kids were caught on security camera. He says one of the kids was a decoy, talking to the reverand and his wife, while the other made off with the money.

That money was in the reverand’s wife’s purse, and it was the offering they collected during Sunday service.

“It is totally mind boggling. How these kids looked like…one was maybe 11, the other one was maybe 14, 15. It is just disheartening that this is what our youth is coming to.” said Rev. McDonald.

The thieves also made off with the reverand’s car. He says someone from the church spotted the suspects in the car, shortly after the theft, but police have not caught them yet.
