Augusta, GA (WJBF) – The Richmond County Health Department, along with Augusta leaders, are asking all restaurants in the area affected by the boil water advisory to remain closed Wednesday.
This is effective until the advisory is lifted, or they can demonstrate to the health department they can operate safely.
The agency will send an inspector out to verify their plan to operate during the advisory.
If a restaurant cannot produce a written plan, it is to remain closed.
If there are any questions or concerns, please contact the health department at 706-667-4324.
