Macon, GA – Georgia students could soon have fewer standardized tests.
A bill proposed by the Senate would require only 24 standardized test instead of 32.
If passed, the legislature would make test results play less of a role in teacher and administrator evaluations.
Currently students take Georgia Milestones assessments from third grade thru twelfth.
The new bill would eliminate some science and social studies exams and add a different form of reading and math.
